Operative creation of vegetative indices maps (NDVI)

Sputnik Agro allows the following:

  • Visualization of NDVI maps obtained from UAV
  • Analysis of areas by their separation manually or by contours from KML files
  • Exporting of NDVI data into formats Shapefile and CSV
Measurement of volumes of root crops

Volume of root crops at open storages (piles) quickly and with high level of automation is calculated according to tridimensional models plotted on the basis of aerial photography data.

Simultaneous study by means of thermal vision camera allows the tracking of temperature mode and taking of decision regarding utilization of this or that pile at first instance.

Analysis of terrain

In addition to tridimensional visualization of the terrain Sputnik Agro allows the following:

  • Transformation of altitudes map into slopes map
  • Construction of horizontals with set pace
  • Calculation of drain-less areas and directions of land drainage

Surveying and inventory check of land plots with the help of UAV

Data from aerial photography can be used for operative independent assessment of land condition. Visual control of plowed field condition according to orthophotomap is simple procedure, allowing the detection of facts imposing limitations onto possible utilization of land of reducing its market price, without leaving of office.

Facts revealed according to results of aerial photography:

  • Mismatching between announced and actual borders of the field
  • Sections of the plowed field, not processed due to erosion
  • Planting of tilled crops at sections with steepness ratу more than 5
  • Sections of plowed field with depressed vegetation
  • Signs of ravine and draw net expansion
Supporting of land reclamation construction

As per results of the aerial photography orthophotomap, altitudes map, DSM (digital surface model) can be created.

Geodesy preciseness: up to 10 cm in the plan, 15 cm by height.

DSM (digital surface model) together with altitudes map can be used for the following:

  • Vertical planning
  • Modeling of flooding
  • Planning of rice paddies
  • Construction of hydrology maps
 Control of agro technical measures

With the help of UAV complexes it is possible to carry out both surveillance in real time mode (video and photo) and obtaining of data for subsequent processing.

Obtained data are used for control of cleaning process, measurement of mowing fields, reclaimed land, etc.

Agricultural insurance

Comparison of data from aerial photography for winter crops in the autumn and in spring after hibernation – effective method for assessment of their condition.

Complex Geoskan 201 Agro, equipped with RGB-camera and IR-camera allows the performance of general estimation as per NDVI maps and clarification of crops according to orthophotomaps and high resolution photos.
